Registration Night 2008
Children wishing to participate in the MILO program this year can register on the Junior Registration Night held at Highton Reserve on September 5th between 6pm and 6.45pm.
Parents unable to register on September 5th can complete the registration when the first MILO session is held. Date to TBC.
Stuart Helwig will again be our MILO Co-ordinator. We have plans in place to improve on the program from last year including an arrangement with Highton Primary school to use their oval when the main ground at Highton Reserve is unavailable. More registration details can be found on our news page.

MILO IN2CRICKET
MILO in2CRICKET is the new name for Cricket Australia's entry level program, formerly known as Have A Go. While the name and some minor areas of the program have been revised, in2CRICKET still plays a major role in achieving our vision to be Australia's favourite sport by ensuring the long term health of cricket within clubs and schools.
The program is a fun introduction to the game for young boys and girls. It provides children with an enjoyable and safe learning environment where they can build their confidence develop new skills and play games.
MILO in2CRICKET teaches children the most important lesson of all which is to LOVE THE GAME. Once a child learns to love the game of cricket they will be a cricketer for life and will experience all the benefits the game provides:
Healthy lifestyle, Team work, Respect, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Confidence, Grace in victory, Fun and excitement, Self Esteem,
Lifelong friendships, Dignity in defeat , Skill improvement.
For a joining fee you also get some great giveaways, which this year are - Bat, Ball, T-Shirt, Bucket Hat, Activity Booklet, Stump Sticker, MILO Sachet and a Certificate.

PRESENTATION NIGHT
Presentation night will be held onFriday, 29th February 2008commending at 6 pm. at the Clubrooms. All children will be sitting down and having their McDonalds meal at 6 pm. sharp followed by the Presentation.
McDonalds orders must be returned to Jenny Page by Friday, 22nd February 2008

MILO HAVE A GO PROGRAM REGISTRATIONS BEING TAKEN.
Our Junior Registration night is being held Friday 26th October 2007 at 6. p.m. at Highton Reserve (upstairs). If you would like to register your child a registration fee of $50 is payable by cash or cheque payable to the Alexander Thomson Cricket Club. A registration form will be required to be completed and signed by a parent/guardian at time of registration.
Our program is held every Friday night at 6 pm at Highton Reserve, Roslyn Road Highton Cost of the program is $50.00. .If you would like to join our program please telephone Stuart Helwig, 0422 431 376 (on field Co ordinator) or Jenny Page 5243 1427 (off field Co ordinator) and all information will be forwarded to you. Dates for our program are:October, 26, November, 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December 7 and 14February 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29thThe program is for 5 – 10 year old boys and girls and is designed to provide children the opportunity to develop:
· Cricket skills
· Physical fitness
· Social Skills
· Participation and Enjoyment of the game of cricket
The program is a great way for us to build up our juniors and get to know local families in our community and secure long term sustainability of our junior program and pool of volunteers.
Alexander Thomson Cricket Club has been successful in being selected to host a program this season.
